About us We are a small nursery situated in the far west of Cornwall over looking Mounts Bay, mild yes but also very wet and windy in the winter. My name is Chris Osborne and i have run the nursery with my mum Fay since 1989. We have slowly built up a good local trade and growing an ever increasing range of perennials, shrubs, Camellias and my speciality Restio’s. The plants I exhibit are mainly Restio’s – evergreen clump forming perennials from South Africa, along with an increasing range of plants growing naturally alongside in a type of vegetation called ‘Fynbos’ . this includes the Protea and Erica families, the three main plant families dominantly found in the ‘Fynbos’ vegetation. Being a small nursery we do not produce huge quantities of any one species. Our emphasis is on quality – something we are frequently complimented on, by both public and fellow professionals. Selling online is totally new to us, so please be patient. I am a nurserymen growing and propagating plants and this cannot be done by sitting at the computer!!
